Heir to Air Jordan

“Heir to Air Jordan,” which will come out once every other week, is a show where we talk about the most iconic NBA players of the 21st century. It’s a podcast for people who grew up watching NBA basketball in the 21st century and remember iconic moments like the alley-oop from Kobe to Shaq against the Blazers in the conference finals, or the Allen Iverson ankle-breaker against Tyronn Lue. My hope is that, through this podcast, you will get to relive those moments that made the NBA what it is today.

I slipped up when I said Hakeem wasn't on my all-time NBA list. I meant to say he's not on my top 10 all-time NBA list. He would probably be #11 on my list.

This basketball player is the first NBA champion on my list, and was known for his defense and midrange shooting. He got one team its first-ever conference finals appearance, and got another its only championship in the last 35 years. Let me know if you think he should have been higher or lower on my list, and stay tuned for the fourth episode.

“Heir to Air Jordan” is a show where we explore the 10 most iconic NBA players who took the court after Michael Jordan. It's a podcast for people who grew up watching NBA basketball in the 21st century and remember iconic moments like the alley-oop from Kobe to Shaq against the Blazers in the conference finals, or the Allen Iverson ankle-breaker against Tyronn Lue. We'll take a deepdive into some of the most legendary scorers, lockdown defenders and elite playmakers who have ever taken the court. I hope the podcast will take you through the players who molded the NBA into the league we know and (some of us) love.
